So how does this one-of-a-kind, custom jewelry process work?

Calm & Chaos rings with tourmaline, citrine, peridot and opal

I've been asked how the order process works when ordering one of my pieces so here is an explanation of how easy it is to order a ready-to-ship or custom piece made just for you!

One-of-a-kind
The rings shown above are all one-of-a-kind as are all of my rings. As you can imagine, it is hard to anticipate every individual's size and taste so I try to offer a range of sizes when creating these unique pieces. That, however does not mean that a style and stone that you love can not be recreated in your size!

If for example, there is a particular stone and ring band that you are drawn to, I can work with you to recreate that style while incorporating a stone of your own choosing. I work with a few hand-picked lapidary artists that are able to source the material I am looking for (i.e. the stones shown above: pink tourmaline, citrine, peridot, Peruvian blue opal, Australian boulder and more).

Custom

Prehnite Calm & Chaos Ring with 18K GoldI also source a few freeform stones in larger quantities. For example, I was asked to recreate this Prehnite Calm & Chaos ring with silver and 18K gold for a lovely lady and fellow artist in Tennessee. She loved the color of the stone and style of the band so contacted me to see what other Prehnite stones I had available.

Custom Prehnite Calm & Chaos Ring with 18K GoldBy providing her with images of similarly sized Prehnite she was able to choose the one that spoke to her and we both felt would work well with her ring size. One week later, her custom Prehnite Calm & Chaos ring was finished (see right) and headed to its home!

So how does the order process work?

Rainbow Moonstone Reef Ring with 18K GoldWhile the one-of-a-kind rings are available on the site with the exact size, some are listed with multiple size options. This Reef ring with a rose cut rainbow moonstone is available in sizes ranging from 5 to 11. Because they are cut "freeform", each stone is shaped a little differently while the overall dimensions are roughly the same. In addition, every "reef" band is unique because I melt the silver, run through a mill to create the asymmetrical ridges and then hand texture.

When you order a ring like this one, I will immediately contact you with images of other moonstones I have available so for you to choose from. In as little as 1-2 weeks, you will receive your very own custom made ring!

I hope this explanation helps. As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I would be delighted to make a custom piece of jewelry just for you!
